Not respecting general principles of social research

Social science methodology and survey research are established fields and scientific disciplines. One can find numerous textbooks, expert associations, study programmes and lectures on all levels of formal and informal education (courses), scientific and expert journals, conferences, workshops, etc. An expert approach is distinguished by exhaustiveness and precision when forming theoretical background, understanding research process stages, understanding ethical standards, as well as the correct assessment of the human resources and time required for the creation of the questionnaire. In this sense it is especially critical – and exceedingly typical – to abandon or underestimate the role of questionnaire testing.

The above statements apply to the particularities of web survey creation and of course cannot solve the problems that come into existence when general principles of web performance and survey methodology are not considered.
